With collaboration between the Musk Quat team, Transitional Housing Support Workers, the Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board (CDSSAB) and the Second Stage Housing Advisory Committee, this program intensive housing unit allows the time needed to transition to independence with maintaining autonomy and life control.
What Program Intensive means
This means that women living in Musk Quat will need to remain involved with services. They don’t have to be TAWC services, they could be; Addiction Services, Sexual Assault Centre Services, Mental Health Services, etc.
How it works
Connect to a Transitional Housing Support Worker from TAWC (1-705-268-8381), Centre Passerelle pour femmes (1-705-360-5657) or Tranquility House (1-705-273-2339) to fill out an application.
What’s included
Each unit has a secure entrance and security system that’s monitored 24 hours a day. All utilities are included in the market rent cost, including; heat, hydro, phone and internet. Units are also fully furnished with all the comforts of home, including bedding and linens.
